Ruben holds a PhD degree in Law (obtaining honourable mention) from the Faculty of Law of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and a Bachelor's degree in Law (obtaining honourable mention) from the Faculty of Law of the Autonomous University of Yucatán (UADY). He currently works as a Lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the UADY.
Areas of interest: constitutional theory, methodologies of adjudication and proportionality test.
* Ally Researcher is a person who is not affiliated to the Center for Constitutional Studies but who collaborates in one or more academic projects of the Center on an unpaid basis, through an academic cooperation alliance. The Article Three, sections II and VIII of the Center`s rules of organization and operation (AGA No. III / 2019) enables it to establish academic cooperation alliances.
