María Fernanda holds a Bachelor's degree in Law from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. She has worked in Administrative District Courts, in the Human Rights Commission of Mexico City, in the First Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation and in the Legal Clinic at the National University Human Rights Program, which was directed by her for two years. She has extensive experience in clinical legal education processes and in the defense of human rights. Among others, she has been involved in defending the rights of persons with disabilities and in cases of gender violence in civil and family contexts.


Areas of interest: clinical law education, rights of persons with disabilities, family law and scientific evidence.
