The Center for Constitutional Studies is an academic institution focused on solving relevant problems of constitutional justice.

The Center seeks to become an avant-garde academic institution capable of improving the administration of justice in Mexico. We are interested in sparking off original academic discussions. With our research work we also seek to contribute to the latest national and global debates in the field.

The Center is aware that in order to influence the academic debate and propose innovative solutions, it is necessary to rigorously observe the reality, produce serious diagnoses, and turn to experience in other countries. In this sense, we will generate empirical studies, sensitive to comparative law and, as far as possible, open to other fields and study perspectives.

The immediate objective is to strengthen our ability to contribute to the national and global research agenda on constitutional law. Moreover, our researchers must produce useful and accessible research, oriented to solving problems and based on a solid empirical and theoretical background.

In the medium and long term, the Center seeks to gain an authentic potential for change, which will allow us to provide solutions to the challenges of constitutional justice through a serious and responsible work; a Center committed to build a more egalitarian society and the consolidation of the Rule of Law.
